Structural design features Folding structure: The main body of the filter element adopts a dense longitudinal folding process (i.e., "pleating"), which greatly increases the effective filtration area within a limited volume, thereby reducing airflow resistance and enhancing purification efficiency.

End caps and seals: The gray end caps on both the top and bottom are typically used to secure the filter material and serve as seals, ensuring that air must pass through the filter material for filtration and preventing unfiltered air from leaking from the edges. 

Filter material composition: The core of this type of filter is the HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter mesh, which is interwoven with extremely fine fibers and has strong interception capabilities for tiny particulate matter.

Purification principle  Mechanical interception: It primarily captures particulate matter in the air through physical mechanisms such as fiber interception, inertial collision, diffusion, and electrostatic adsorption.  

Efficient filtration: The standard HEPA filter can filter out at least 99.97% of particles measuring 0.3 microns, effectively removing common pollutants such as PM2.5, pollen, dust, and pet dander.

Replacement cycle: Under typical household usage conditions, it is recommended to replace it every 6-12 months. If there are smokers or pets in the household, or if the area is heavily polluted by smog, the replacement frequency may need to be shortened to every 4-6 months.
